Process:
Admissions Process
1. Make an appointment for a meeting and observation of a classroom. These appointments last approximately 1 hour.
2. If you feel this type of environment and the Montessori program is a good fit for your child, complete the Application for Admission and submit it to the school with the $75 non-refundable application fee.
3. Upon receipt of the Admission Application, VdM will contact you to schedule a student visit for children 4.5 and older only:
   • Children's House candidates ages 4.5-5 years participate in a 3 hour long visit in a classroom.
Note: If enrollment is during the summer, the child will be expected to visit in the summer class, but it may not be the classroom to which he or she is assigned.
   • Elementary Program (ages 6 and up):
The majority of students are admitted from Villa di Maria’s Children’s House program, though we may accept a small number of students each year with appropriate educational backgrounds. After a parent visit and observation, the child is required to have 1 or 2 full day visits.
VdM does not discriminate on the basis of racial or ethnic heritage or religious belief.

Even the youngest children are happy, busy and focused. The children work so peacefully together as if it is their own community. I am so glad we found this school for our child. — E.J., VdM Parent
